Horses - we love them no matter what?

My riding buddy just  bought a new horse.  It is a beautiful copper Palomino - stud - 6 years old - and untamed.  His has the most perfect blond mane that needs to have it cut off to remove all the "Angel knots".  What was he thinking?  If anyone he will be able to gentle him, but what a challenge.  He looks like this horse actually - except the mane is seriously tangled!

Yesterday I watched a movie "White Mane", a French movie on the Criterion Collection on Hulu Plus.   If you love horses then you should watch this - it isn't too long at all.

Did I ever mention that my horse Lucy lost her eye last fall?  What a nightmare trying to save it and for naught.  Somewhere I kept a lot of photos, and I will have to find them.  She is amazingly the same stinker she was before!

I have just started to see the mosquito's outside now, with all the water they are everywhere.  But thanks to my Avon Skin So Soft bug repellent I am doing great!  There are so many mosquito's!

Still the same ol' gal!

I have been reticent in blogging lately of my new adventure of selling AVON.  It seems that being able to put my brochures at the grocery in town has given me new customers after all.

Your Avon Sales Representative
Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard
Order Online at
www.youravon.com/goleslie
Today's revelation is about how to help others with their AVON business while researching, creating, and implementing.

This product line is available at an UN-believable price of $50.00 - item 332-139 (Sold separately it is a $122 value.

What is included:  A tote bag, Expedition Aerosol and Pump Spray.  Cool N Fabulous lotion, Gentle Breeze Lotion, Anit-itch spray, Picardin Pump Spray and Aerosol, and finally a pack of the Picardin Towelettes.

These are pictures of just some of the items you will receive.  This is a best seller this year!  And of Course I got mine first!

One of the features of AVON I really admire is the ability to input the order number and the best price from 3 separate catalogs will pop up - so I can select the best sale price!

Above is one of my flyer's that I put on the back of my AVON books.  (Pun intended.)

Apparently we need a spread-sheet program, a tax log, an invoice for customers, and other templates that I am either creating or researching.

Horse head soap that looks like precious stones! Steampunk bookmark

These are a few of my new items posted for sale at Addoway - URL above is to Joyce's storefront.  Very kind of Joyce to post them for me.

I can't get over the spicy scent.
The bookmarks - I wonder with the invention of the Ipad, the Nook, and Kindle books will be obsolete?  I rather like to turn a page when I read.

I even have a Steampunk bookmark!

Making Soap for Presents this Year (again!)

Whoa - my kitchen production center is a mess - I am out of the soap making business and now into the packaging phase - I am not sure which phase I like better !  They are both really creative and well I guess I will have to post ALL of my soaps here when I am finished packaging.  In the meantime, here are a few of my first ideas - they get more creative the nights before the GRAVEYARD shifts!

Funny how the camera switch made such a difference.
This cool green horse head is with the other camera, new batteries, and it looks yellow.  Hmmm maybe the kid who coughed up the batteries gave me old ones.  I wouldn't put it past him - the Battery Hoarder!

This one is my favorite - a cool green color like a Coke bottle, and a pepperment scent - just fits  perfect in your hand for washing!

I have made so many different types since this first day, too bad I didn't have any coffee or coconut!  I even think I may buy a cheapo hand mixer to make a froth........  The rosemary bush outside came in handy along with the cinnamon sticks I had been saving!  I shall download them next.
