I think the bride looks like the groom and the groom like the bride.

Equine Love
Just a quick note as I rush off to join the night shift of the dead.  Oh I am so excited - but tomorrow I am going riding so that should be a find end to either this night or the beginning of the next.  Time is not relevant for anyone on this shift.

Isn't  this bride bigger than the groom?

Here she is - the boss mare - why is it a mare in the horse species, but a bitch in the canines?  I think that shall be my google search for today.  The above is just funny.

In most cases, a mare is a female horse over the age of three, and a filly is a female horse age three and younger. However, in Thoroughbred horse racing, a mare is defined as a female horse more than four years old. The word can also be used for other female equine animals, particularly mules and zebras, though a female donkey is usually called a "jenny." A broodmare is a mare used for breeding. A horse's female parent is known as its dam.
